The procedures of the stationary fluidized bed combustion have been known for about 80 years. The further development of this process focused less on power plants took place at the University of Rostock since the mid-90s under the direction of
Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
Dieter Steinbrecht the department "Environmental Technology"

The specific parameters such as fluidization number,
Fluidization, host point, residence time, combustion chamber
able for low power e.g. at constant temperature,
Freebord design, fuel detection and simplistic
Plant design will be expanded

The stationary fluidized bed combustion SWSF DN 400 at the Institute for Energy and Environmental Engineering at the University of Rostock, 2003.
